Amber & Charles in Charlottesville, VA
Photos By: Rob Garland Photographers, Charlottesville
Event Planning: Jennifer Carroll Events
Location: Colonnade Club at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville
Accordion-style grey invitations decorated with aqua and cream paper had pictures of Amber and Charles as children that had been photo shopped together.
Blue hyacinth added a touch of color to Amber‘s bouquet of white tulips.
Aqua booklets tied with brown ribbon and printed with the couple‘s monogram sat on each seat.
Amber and Charles married on the lawn at the University of Virginia‘ campus beneath an arch draped in white fabric.
Blooming orchids in glass vases sat on a table in front of patterned drapes behind the ceremony arch.
Aqua and white escort cards detailing the guest‘s names and table numbers stuck out of mini topiaries.
A menu detailing the food stations sat atop a white napkin and textured gold chargers.
Vases filled with stems of white orchids and hurricanes with glowing candles lined the chocolate-colored tablecloths.
Amber and Charles danced to "I‘ll Back You Up," the same song she walked down the aisle to, by Dave Matthews Band.
It wasn't love at first sight for Amber and Charles, but after meeting through mutual friends they developed a 'friendship.' After four years of pretending they were just friends, Amber finally got up the courage to tell Charles that she's had a crush on him for a while. Lucky for her, he felt the same way.

The Bride Amber Cajulis, 33, software developer
The Groom Charles Manry, 32, investment banking vice president
The Date May 24

From that day on they were inseparable and two years later Charles popped the question on the beach while they were vacationing in Negril, Jamaica. In honor of their Alma Mater -- The University of Virginia -- they decided to have their ceremony and reception at two of the most popular places, the lawn and one of the oldest brick building on campus, the Colonnade Club.
